Refined sugar is a high purity crystalline sugar, obtained by re-crystallising sugar beet or cane sugar.

The re-crystallisation process minimises the content of non-sugary substances, water and ashes, making this sugar highly degradable and free of residues, and is therefore particularly suitable for the preparation of transparent liquid substances such as grapes and distillates.
